Overview

    It is a robot palletizing system self designed by our company. The system is a set of intelligent control system that can complete the whole palletizing process by taking robot as the main operation body with conveyor and arrangement auxiliary device. This robot palletizing system has the advantages of strong product adaptability and multiformat compatible ability as well as easy maintenance and so forth. Compared with conventional palletizers, robot palletizing system can simultaneously satisfy the needs of multiple production lines and can palletize various products simultaneously.
    The automatic robot palletizing system includes: box conveying system, box organizing system, robot fixture, robot system, tray conveying system and tray buffering system and so forth. After automatic sealing or being packed by film packing machine, the product carton will be conveyed to box organizing system by box conveying system, which will then be grabbed by robot fixture after being arranged and cleared up, grabbed products will be stacked layer by layer according to stacking up needs of products and then will be conveyed to forklift receiving point by tray conveying system for delivery or being handed over to automatic vertical warehouse. According to requirements of system production speed, an automatic tray conveying station can be individually configured, and robot can be used to supply stacking plates.

    10. Electric control system requirements:
    Electric cabinet and other electrical parts should meet IP55 waterproof grade and should be provided with effective grounding measures. The equipment should be configured with effective measures of safety protection, no safety risks can be allowed, for example, safety guardrail and grating electric eye,  safety door and emergency stop facilities are equipped in robot working areas, which should meet the current standards stipulated in General Requirements for Design and Manufacturing of Mechanical Safety, Protective Device, Fixed and Movable Protective Devices (GB/T 8196-2003).
Stacking Process
    1. One-to-one stacking mode:
    The robot system palletizes products transferred by a box conveying line simultaneously.
    2. Two-in-one stacking mode:
    The robot system simultaneously palletizes products transferred by two box conveying lines that can be different in specifications. When grabbing products of different specifications, the robot system will automatically switch its control fixtures without the need of human intervention. Whether to configure two-in-one stacking mode depends on total production speed, stacking modes and other specific parameters for calculation.
    3. Three-in-one stacking mode:
    The robot system simultaneously palletizes products transferred by three box conveying lines that can be different in specifications. When grabbing products of different specifications, the robot system will automatically switch its control fixtures without the need of human intervention. Whether to configure three-in-one stacking mode depends on total production speed, stacking modes and other specific parameters for calculation.
    4. Four-in-one stacking mode:
    The robot system simultaneously palletizes products transferred by four box conveying lines that can be different in specifications. When grabbing products of different specifications, the robot system will automatically switch its control fixtures without the need of human intervention. Whether to configure four-in-one stacking mode depends on total production speed, stacking modes and other specific parameters for calculation. 
Technical Parameters and System Configuration
    1. Control cabinet and electrical components
    (1) The provided supporting wires, electrical components adopt imported or joint venture brands to ensure its service life and usability, specific configurations are as follows:
Siemens S7-300PLC, touch screen; DANFOSS inverter; Schneider low voltage electrical components; IDEC relay; SICK, OMRON sensors; SMC cylinder and electromagnetic valve; and Schneider button switch.
    (2) The install parts of control cabinet and other electric appliances are provided with waterproof measures, meet the IP55 waterproof grade, and have effective grounding measures, and the electrical installation conforms to the national standards.
    (3) It adopts three-phase-five-wire system for its control and system wiring, zero line and ground line are separated.
    (4) Electrical components are installed inside the control cabinet through guide rails with convenient disassembly.
    (5) Key switches, operation buttons, indicating lamps and the like are installed on the operating panel with compact structure and beautiful outlook.
    (6) In addition, a pneumatic electric converter, integrated electromagnetic valve, Holzer switch and other components are installed for safety protection
    (7) All wiring and piping in the system are reasonable, beautiful and neat; all swivel signal sources needed adopt sealed electrical boxes for connection; all signal points show clear numbers for convenient maintenance and replacement.
2. Conveyor
    (1) Conveyor frame: made of A3 steel plate with a thickness of 2.0mm.
    (2) Roller: made of STS304 stainless steel, all gears adopts carbon steels for production
    (3) Landing legs: adopts A3 steel pipe , with universal adjusting foot margin.
    (4) Drive motor: Taiwan Xintaichuang gear motor
    (5) Motor and chain drive parts adopt safety shield for protection
3. Arrangement platform
    (1) It adopts stainless steel square tubes for welding
    (2) It adopts stainless steel roller for conveying and arranging cartons
    (3) A carton steering device and parting device are installed on the platform
    (4) Box pushing cylinder is installed on the platform to push and send the arranged cartons to box grasping platform
    (5) It is equipped with a rubber coated roller for conveying parting cartons to guarantee the accuracy and safety of structured packing count
    (6) The arrangement area is separated from grasping area in the platform. After the arrangement packing, the box pushing cylinder will push and send the cartons to the specified grasping areas, the platform can continue arrangement packing the follow-up cartons.
    (7) It is provided with automatic box blocking alarm detection system. When there is a failure, the platform will stop running and send the alarm out.
    (8) It is equipped with overstepped detection system. When the regularly arranged cartons deform and fail to meet the normal grasping for robot, the platform will send the alarm out and the robot stop grasping the products in the platform and send out the alarm
    (9) It is also provided with a safety operation button. When pressing the safety operation button, the operation staff can carry out manual handling work on the arrangement platform while the robot will stop grasping products in the platform.
    (10) It adopts dislocation arrangement for the design to ensure the robot can grab products in two stations simultaneously.
4. Robot fixture
    Robot fixture adopts high-strength aviation aluminum profile for overall cutting and manufacturing, robot fixture forks are made of seamless stainless steel pipes with the advantages of high strength and strong durability, and the drive cylinder adopts SMC products. The fixture divides into whole layer fixture and plate fixture.
5. Energy consumption of the system: 16KW, robot: 7.5KW; conveying system: 8.5KW
