Equipment introduction
Since cans need to be transported between can making enterprises and filling enterprises, there are some defects such as mouth deformation, tank body depression and foreign bodies in the packaging and transportation of cans, which affect the product quality and filling efficiency during filling. In the traditional production line, most of these defects are detected by manual, but it is impossible to ensure that each empty tank is fully inspected and these defects are found by manual, which often leads to defective products flowing to the next step or into the market, resulting in material waste or bad market response. In view of the above problems, our company developed a high-speed empty tank detection machine based on visual image processing technology to solve the trouble caused by the above problems.
This inspector is the visual detecting equipment with international advanced level. Combined the photography technology and optical technology, analyzed by the high speed computer intelligent image analysis system and expert decision system, the equipment can judge whether the item is qualified.
Equipment principle
When the empty can enters the foreign matter detection area in the can, the sensor will trigger a signal to the camera, and the ring light source will light up here. At the same time, the camera will take a frame image of the inner wall and bottom area of the can and transmit the image to the industrial computer, which will process the image in real time to judge whether there is foreign matter in the can.

When the empty can enters the detection area of the tank mouth, the high-speed camera obtains the image of the can mouth under the low-angle ring light irradiation, which is the same as the previous station. Finally, the comprehensive determination results of the two detection stations are obtained. If it is defective, when the detected can enters the elimination area, the removing device will remove the defective product to the defective product collection table. If it is genuine, it will proceed to the next production process.
